Stefan Wiltschnig

Stefan Wiltschnig works as PhD Fellow in the EU FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network “DESIRE - Creative Design for Innovation in Science and Technology" at Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. His research interests are in “engaged scholarship” in creative and innovative processes with a multidisciplinary approach between design, management and cognitive science. Special emphasis lies on the enabling conditions, frames and spaces for collaboration for knowledge creation. In his PhD-project he is researching “insight moments” in creative processes, working mainly with design teams.He is trained in telecommunications engineering and business administration. His diploma studies at the University of Klagenfurt and Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration  (WU Vienna) had mayors in “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” as well as project and process management with special emphasis on knowledge and change management. Further studies in Cognitive Science followed at the Universities of Vienna and Ljubljana parallel to his work as Assistant to the Vice Rector for Infrastructure and Business Development at WU Vienna. In this role he coordinated the successful grant application that enabled the foundation of the TU/WU Entrepreneurship Center Vienna. Further work experiences were gained at Robert Bosch AG, in systemic consulting and at emersense.
