San Diego, Los Angeles, Las Vegas
Architectural Interplay between the USA and Europe, yesterday and today

After the great success of the architecture-trip last year, Hewlett Packard and CAD inkjet solutions decided to organize a second run. This time more than 40 architects from Austria and Switzerland travelled to the western coast (Los Angeles, Las Vegas) of the USA, where they enjoyed the impressions of interplay between signature- and pop architecture.
One of the main interests indeed was the work of Austrian architects, who brought “modern architecture” to Northern America. Above all the participants appreciate the excellent mixture of visiting different buildings and the immediate reflection with the architects. Michael Shamiyeh from the university of arts, Linz, again compiled the program. The third architecture-trip 2006 leads to Singapore.
