Saxen - a computer generated plot layout
In Summer 2002 the community area of Saxen (Upper Austria) was entirely
flooded. In order to secure the people’s home in future, the government
proposed to resettle the inhabitants of the region to a field on a hill
located nearby. We invited Kees Christiansee (KCAP) and Oliver Fritz (CAAD
ETH Zurich) to apply their software kaisersrot to generate quickly a plot
layout based on individual needs.
